Job Description

Bridgemead Consulting is recruiting for the position of a project Manager on behalf of its client; a shading and security solutions specialist. We are looking for a skilled, experienced and hard-working individual to join the team. He/She will be responsible for running client projects through the entire project lifecycle; from handling enquiries to product installation and reviews. We are a small team; hence, you may be required to take on some cross-functional responsibilities in administration to support the smooth running of the organisation. The ideal candidate will be numerate and have excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation. He/She must be organised, detail oriented, with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Running client consultations, which include making product recommendations.
  • Maintaining client relationships and managing their expectations.
  • Taking accurate measurements at the project site.
  • Ensuring that proposals, priced quotations, invoices, and collections are prepared accurately.
  • Placing orders and liaising with manufacturers and shippers.
  • Receiving and inspecting orders for completeness, correctness, and product quality.
  • Ensuring project timelines are met and clients are satisfied.
  • Identifying new marketing opportunities and avenues for growth.
  • Attending trade events.
  • Conducting product, market, and competitor research.
  • Directing and managing all work forces attached to each project team.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for projects.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing project documentation.
  • Establish and maintain a cordial and professional relationship with clients.
  • Manage project officers and installers and vendors.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite. 5
Basic maths skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentage, ratio conversions, percentage increase and decrease, proportions, geometry (length, width, depth, area, volume), measurements – mm, cm, m, kg - and their conversions. 4
Strong organisational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. 4
Good people skills and team player. 4
Detail oriented. 4
Business management and budgeting skills. 4
Education & Experience

Academic Qualification (s)

Bachelor’s degree in any management course or other related field.

Years of Experience

Three (3) years’ experience in related roles which demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the above duties.

Other experience

PMP / PRINCE II certification will be an added value.
